Why Choose DTF | DTF By Wellington

Why Choose DTF?

Why choose DTF transfers over other garment decoration methods, like Direct-To-Garment, Screenprinting, HTV, Digital Prints, etc...?

DTF has many benefits, including:

  • Unlimited Colors - no limitations or extra charges for the number of different colors in your design. Printing is done with CMYK inks, so any combination of those colors can be used to make your print.
  • Extremely Fine Detail - Since DTF is just ink printed onto a transfer film, very small and thin detail can be achieved. Lines as thin as 0.02 inch (1/2 MM) can be printed and transferred.
  • No Outlines or Borders - When compared to Digital Print Heat Transfer film, DTF Transfers don't require any outlines or borders to encapsulate small details.
  • Soft Hand - The feel of DTF when it's heat applied is incredibly soft and light. No stiff paper, or vinyl like feel. And since DTF ink is lighter than even screenprint ink, you will barely notice it on your garment.
  • Works On Light & Dark Garments - Every DTF Transfer is printed with a white ink base, giving the design great opacity on dark fabrics.
  • Extremely Affordable - "DTF by Wellington" Transfers are priced at only $0.06 per square inch. This makes ordering small quantities very cost-effective.
